I have a blog that I used FanUpdate on and lately it’s been giving me a lot of trouble with commas and apostraphies and a few other things I don’t like about it and I’ve decided to put up a wordpress blog instead on a subdomain (I own my own domain). But I’d like to import my old blog posts and comments into my new wordpress blog but I can’t seem to figure out how to do it correctly. Does someone know how to do this or have a tutorial I could follow? :/
It allows rss feeds, but for some reason I can’t get it to work and have no idea what I’m doing wrong.

whenever i click on the available themes under the presentation tab on my wordpress blog, all it does is show me a sample, it doesnt change anything! i need a step by step "tutorial" on how to chnage my theme! please!

Okay, so I run a tutorial/blog/resource site & I noticed that when I put HTML Codes into the Text Areas in WordPress I keep seeing this <p>! It’s messing up the HTML Codes! So I need to know if there is a plugin, or is there something else I can try! I tried these plugins already:Wordpress Code Snippet & SyntaxHighlighter Plus, none of them work! Any tips? Thanks in advance!

Let’s say you have a pre-existing web page with an area on the front page called "News" and someone with no computer smarts wants to be able to update it easily.

Can you embed a wordpress blog in an area of an existing page? Just the bare bones part that would display the latest blog entry?

I am trying to upload PHP files to the back-end of a wordpress-hosted blog but they aren’t showing up. The browser is reading the title, but the pages are blank. The tutorial I’ve been using was written in 2002 and I wonder whether it is an old version of PHP that is the problem…?

Trying to update to WordPress 2.5.1 and all the online tutorials have been no help whatsoever. If someone could please let me know step by step how to update through the Yahoo! File Manager, that would be wonderful.
